This summer I was excited to be asked by Chris Haberman, the art director for Portlandia, to bring in some of my oil paintings for the set! I’ve received some emails from folks over the last couple weeks who have spotted the pieces. I haven’t seen them yet since I don’t have cable, but hope to when season three is available online. If you watch the show, keep an eye out for these paintings and let me know if you spot them! The yellow one has sold, but the other two are still listed in my etsy shop.

I KNEW I saw one of your paintings on the art episode!!! I yelled at John,”there was a Rachel painting! There was a Rachel painting!” Congrats!!

aw, rachel – that is just so darned cool… i just love it. i’m in the same boat – but will keep my eyes peeled when i get to see the third season online! so exciting!
