Hello friends,

Rebecca Shelley, a fabulous local artist, has started a kickstarter campaign to help move her vintage artist studio trailer from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine this summer.  Pledge backers receive thoughtful gifts like postcards from the road to custom paintings.  Check out her campaign page to see before and after pictures of her studio trailer and to read more about helping out Rebecca.  Also, her blog is inspiring to read for those of us who just dream about having a little trailer to restore.

Happy travels, Rebecca.

My friend Jamee Linton is having a moving sale as she heads to Seattle.  Come visit her studio this weekend, Feb. 16th and 17th for some great deals on beautiful art.  Jamee and I met years ago when we both work at our local art supply store, Art Media and I love having her peaceful work on my walls.  Visit her website for more info.

Morgen Barrett is having a trunk show this weekend – don’t miss it!  Her simple, modern styles go with everything.  I’ll have some paintings, prints, and cards there along with other artists showing gorgeous wood cutting boards, silkscreened skirts and headbands. Pretty much holiday shopping accomplished in one place.  I won’t be able to be present on Saturday due to another sale, but will be there a bit on Sunday.

The sale is out of her home at  5626 SE Ramona St, Portland 97206

November 17th and 18th from 11-4

More info here.

My Dad, David Kremiller, has always made amazing things out of found materials and is finally getting out there with some of his creations!  He’ll be showing at the Cracked Pots Garden Art Show at McMenamins Edgefield in Troutdale, Oregon tomorrow and Wednesday.  This is such a fun and inspiring show.  This post is a little last minute since I’ve been swamped with the Salem show last weekend (it was a fabulous by the way) and I’m pulling late nights getting ready for the Bellevue Art Fair next weekend.  But if you are in the area and can make it, come on out to the Cracked Pots show and say hello to my Dad!  Here are some of his tables and his website with his tables.

The show is from 10-8pm this Tuesday and Wednesday, July 24th & 25th

I love these – he made a couple of kid sized garden tables for the little gardeners out there.  Pretty cute, don’t you think?

I know this post looks a little similar to the last, but this one is to happily announce that I have six brand new prints available!  Just posted them in my etsy shop.  I’d love to giveaway a print of your choice to two lucky readers – just leave a comment and I’ll pick at random this Saturday morning.  Go!

Earl’s Court Print 8 x 10

Sitka Print 8 x 10

West Seattle Print 11 x 14

Montreal Print 11 x 14

Puget Sound Print 11 x 14

Schmitz Park Print 11 x 14

Been having a good week in the studio.  Here are a couple of the longer landscape styles that I’ve finished from my map painting series.  I think I’ll be making some new prints of the umbrella painting and the camper.  Now, back to work.
