Beacon Hill 5 x 5

I’ll have a little booth at the Rieke Art Fair, this is a fundraiser for Rieke Elementary School on My 5th from 10-4.  Hope to see you there!

I’ve added two sweet card sets to my line : Seattle and Campers!  You may have already seen the Seattle set at Click in West Seattle.  Six different cards all with a Seattle area maps in the background.  And I’m loving the little campers – five different trailers off on adventures and one USA card to plan your route.

I’m discontinuing my 8 x 10 map prints – get them for 1/2 off through the end of May! Thirty three pretty designs to choose from for only $9 each.  I’ll still be printing the popular 11 x 14 prints and have some new designs I’m adding.  Cheers!

Addie and I took advantage of a unusually beautiful day in Portland today – it was in the 80’s!  We spent the entire day outside watercolor painting, filled the pool and had a picnic with friends.  Bring on summer, we are ready!

Jon and I have been working the last few weeks on a beautiful new catalog with all my cards and prints as I venture into more wholesaling and working with reps.  One of the pictures shown above taken by the talented Cara Denison for the catalog.  Original painting sales have been down this last year, but cards and prints way up.  We’ve been adding more single cards, boxed sets and 11 x 14 print designs. I love what I do so much and I’m excited that this coming year I’ll have more time to work on a new watercolor series.   Other exciting happenings – starting some rough drafts of a children’s book.  Fingers crossed.  I’ll keep you posted.

Happy spring.
